Kids Desk Moon Handpainted, Upcycled Pine Childrens Room Make-up Storage Dress Up
Mid Century Modern kids desk with a moon hand painted on the top of the sloping pine flap, a cool addition to any children's room especially if they are a fan of planets and outer space! It can happily be used as a writing/drawing desk or even to store make-up if your child loves to play dress up! Let their creativity flow with this one of a kind painted piece, lined in a fabulous silver paper and silver dipped effect legs to match.
This piece has been lovingly restored and painted using Fusion Mineral paint in 'Oakham' which is a gorgeous warm grey shade, any knocks or bumps are there to tell the story of its previous life :).
I have added a few coats of matt varnish over the top of the painted moon to add a slight protection against scuffs etc - plus as a bonus bit of protection for this desk is that it comes complete with a moveable small square leather offcut with cute fringing detail, which you can place over the moon and happily draw away using the leather as a writing protector (inspired by vintage leather topped desks).
