This vintage wire basket has been transformed from its former life, I have stripped the original plastic coating to reveal this industrial bare metal that was hiding underneath and finished with laquer to protect the finish.
The industrial style castor wheels have been welded on to add a bit more character to this storage basket, perfect for storing blankets and cushions in your living room.
Two of the castor wheels feature a brake to lock them in place, and the actual wheel part is made from a hard rubber - my theory behind this is to stop any damage to your floor when wheeling this quirky basket around!
I have taken great care and attention in upcycling this piece, however due to the vintage nature any bumps or knocks are there to show the story of its previous life :).
