This mid century coffee table has been lovingly refinished to give it a new lease of life! The original dansette legs have been stripped back to reveal the beautiful beech wood, and I have painted a dipped gold effect at the ends which means this vintage piece now fits perfectly within modern home décor.
The underneath of the table has been refinished to a dark grey by Farrow and Ball in the colour 'Down Pipe', which compliments the colours in the floral design on the formica top of the table. The very pretty floral pattern is an original mid century feature.
This beatiful coffee table has been given a coat of wax to protect the finish. I have taken great care and attention in upcycling this beautiful coffee table, however due to the vintage nature any bumps or knocks are there to show the story of its previous life :).
