Upcycled Dining Drop Leaf Table Castor Wheels, Pembroke Victorian, Painted in Little Greene's 'Grey Moss'
£170.00
Sold Out
A charming 'Pembroke' occasional table with a drop leaf design and castor wheels on each of the turned style legs which dates back to the 19th century based on the shape. The design of this table is great if you're limited with space in your home and can fit up to 4 dining chairs around it (very cosy setup, but it is possible if needed!).
The vintage nature of this well loved table, means is a bit wobbly in places, and has signs of wear including a small slice of wood missing along one of the flap edges as I have tried to show in the photos (on the top along the edge nearest the hinged fold, however it doesn't detract too much from the look of the table). I have taken great care and attention to fully restore it to make it useable, and giving it a fresh coat of paint should extend its lifespan further. There was some evidence of historic woodworm in a few areas on the legs so I have fully stripped any old finishes off and applied a woodworm treatment before painting and waxing to finish.
The top has been given a fresh coat of dark oak matt varnish, which compliments the green/grey tone perfectly. There is also a hidden drawer on one end of the table, which I have upcycled with a palm leaf print wallpaper to give it a stylish edge.
*Chairs not included, shown for display purposes*
Measurements:
At its smallest (table flaps down) - 89cm by 50cm
At its largest (flaps up so table is full extended) - 89cm by 95cm
Height - 69cm
