Vintage Japanese Kasa lamp, mid century washi paper real leaves travel tripod lamp

A beautiful Japanese tripod lamp featuring a charming pale pink washi paper shade containing real leaves. Each of the tripod legs unscrew into three parts for travelling, the shade also folds away inside itself in an umbrella type fashion, all so it can fit in its original box as seen in the photos. This light fixture has not been tested and has its original vintage 2 pin plug - for the purpose of the photos to show it working I have simply used a UK adapter and a bayonet bulb (not included) which all worked fine for me, however as I say this has not been officially tested so this lamp is sold as it is seen and described here and ideally would advise to have it tested before use. Some of he legs are slightly warped in shape due to it being used, but this does not detract away from it being fully useable and looking amazing in any home! The shade features a split at the base when unscrewed which enables you to fit your hands inside to fit the bulb - a very cleverly designed lamp overall!
This lamp is a truly quirky example of Japanese style and would compliment a mid century modern home perfectly! You can screw all of the legs together for the full height, or alternatively you could potentially use only two of the parts and have it as a smaller table style tripod lamp which would also look fabulous.
